The short answer

Choose a Philippine distributor for health products by checking five things: a valid FDA License to Operate for your category, who holds your product registrations, which channels they actually sell through (online and offline), how they fulfill orders, and how they protect your brand. A full-service partner such as Vita Max Prime covers import, distribution, eCommerce and fulfillment under one license.

The checklist

  1. Licensing. Ask for the License to Operate and confirm it covers your category.
  2. Registrations. Who files and holds them, and how they transfer if you part ways.
  3. Channels. Which marketplaces, pharmacy chains, hospitals and wholesalers they sell to today.
  4. Fulfillment. Own warehouse or third party? Dispatch speed? One inventory across channels?
  5. Brand protection. Do they monitor and act against counterfeit and unauthorized sellers?
  6. Reporting. Will you see sales by channel, stock levels and marketing results?
  7. Exclusivity and exit terms. Territory, duration, targets and what happens at the end.
  8. Track record. Years operating and categories handled.

Distributor, channel partner or eCommerce enabler?

These labels overlap. What matters is which jobs the partner does in-house. Vita Max Prime acts as licensed importer, distributor to pharmacies, hospitals and wholesalers, and eCommerce enabler for marketplaces and social commerce, with its own warehouse. Common Questions

Choosing a distributor: FAQ

What should I look for in a health product distributor in the Philippines?

A valid FDA License to Operate for your category, clear terms on who holds product registrations, real online and offline channels, reliable fulfillment, brand protection and regular sales reporting.

What is the difference between a distributor and a channel partner?

The terms overlap. A distributor usually buys and resells products to retailers and institutions, while a channel partner may also run online stores, marketing and fulfillment. Check which jobs each partner does in-house.

Should I give a Philippine distributor exclusivity?

Exclusivity can work if it comes with clear targets, a defined territory and channels, a set duration and fair exit terms, including how product registrations transfer.

Can one partner handle both pharmacies and online marketplaces?

Yes. Vita Max Prime sells to chain pharmacies, hospitals, clinics and wholesalers and runs Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, GrabMart and Shopify stores from one inventory.
