From grey market to top 10 supplement brand

The situationA leading US supplement brand with strong demand from Filipino consumers, but no authorized presence in the Philippines. The only supply came through grey-market sellers and counterfeiters.
What we didRegistered the portfolio with the Philippine FDA, became importer of record, cleared and stocked the products, and launched and ran the brand's official stores across the major marketplaces.
The resultRanked among the top 10 supplement brands in the Philippines within the first two years.

The challenge

Demand was already there. Filipino shoppers knew the brand and were buying it, but from sellers the brand did not control: unregistered imports of uncertain storage and age, and outright fakes. Every one of those sales eroded trust in the name and left the brand with no revenue, no data and no say in how it was presented.

Our approach

  1. Make the brand legal to sell. We registered the products with the Philippine FDA, giving the brand a compliant, registered portfolio for the first time.
  2. Own the supply chain. As licensed importer of record we brought in genuine stock directly, with proper storage and traceability from port to customer.
  3. Give buyers an official choice. We set up and ran the brand's official stores across the major marketplaces, so shoppers searching for the brand found the authentic source first.
  4. Scale what worked. Fast fulfillment, consistent listings and campaign participation turned early sales into sustained growth.
Why it worked. Grey-market demand is proof of a market. Registering the products and opening official stores turned that existing demand into the brand's own revenue, and gave buyers a genuine alternative they could trust.

Two medical device brands, from pharmacy shelves to omnichannel

The situationTwo international medical device brands sold only through pharmacy chains and hospitals, with no eCommerce presence at all.
What we didBuilt and ran a full-service omnichannel online presence, introduced promotions and sales tools, linked doctors' recommendations to online purchases through our O2O program, and added same-day and instant delivery.
The resultAbout 40% to 50% year-on-year growth since we started, with online now an established growth channel.

The challenge

Both brands had strong reputations with doctors and pharmacists, but buyers who looked for them online found nothing official. Sales depended entirely on offline shelves, and the brands had no way to connect a doctor's recommendation to the purchase that followed.

Our approach

  1. Full online presence. Official stores and listings across the major marketplaces and webstores, run as one operation.
  2. Tools and promotions. Campaigns, vouchers and sales tools that gave buyers a reason to choose the brand online.
  3. Offline-to-online (O2O). The brands' medical representatives promote to doctors; the resulting online orders are fulfilled by us and recorded in the CRM, tagged to the sales representative for attribution and after-sales support. See the O2O Bridge.
  4. Same-day and instant delivery. For patients who need a device immediately, orders reach them the same day across Metro Manila (NCR).
Why it worked. Online did not compete with the brands' pharmacy and hospital business; it captured the demand that business created. O2O let the field team see and get credit for the online sales they generated.

Reclaiming the brand online from counterfeit and underpriced resellers

The situationA brand whose name was being used by multiple resellers selling counterfeit or underpriced products online.
What we didImplemented an IP protection program built on the brand's trademark: continuous marketplace monitoring, formal takedown requests and enforcement against unauthorized sellers.
The resultThe trademark and the brand's online presence are protected, with official channels established as the trusted place to buy.

The challenge

Counterfeits put customers at risk and damaged the brand's reputation, while underpriced listings undercut legitimate partners and trained shoppers to wait for unrealistic prices.

Our approach

  1. Trademark first. We used the brand's trademark as the basis for every enforcement action.
  2. Monitor continuously. Daily checks across marketplaces and social commerce for counterfeit and unauthorized listings.
  3. Enforce. Formal takedown requests filed and followed through with each platform, with serious cases escalated.
  4. Strengthen official channels. Clear, consistent official listings so buyers can tell the genuine brand from everything else.

Why it worked. Enforcement only works when it is continuous and grounded in a registered trademark. Combined with strong official stores, it moves buyers back to genuine products.
